This mailing was based on the Binomial Cube, which is a well recognized piece of Montessori material. It was chosen to promote the theme Celebrate Childhood, one of five leading to the school’s 50 year anniversary. The square shape helped it to stand out in the mail, thereby encouraging the recipient to notice it. The bright colors and fun photo’s invited them inside where they found quotes from alumni students with updates of ‘where they are now.’ The final open revealed a repeated Binomial Cube highlighting each alumnus/alumna working with current Montessori students using additional classroom materials that would be easily recognized. There was a lot of positive feedback about this piece from recipients that had not been heard from in a long time.
